The Umi Heirloom Throw Pillow is woven in Peru from 84% superfine alpaca and 16% undyed Peruvian cotton. The superfine alpaca produces the soft brushed surface. The undyed Peruvian cotton holds the weave structure through years of use. At 23" x 11" and 2.0 lbs with the insert, the bold windowpane grid holds cleanly across the face at room distance.

What the Cotton Adds

The undyed Peruvian cotton woven through the blend keeps the grid lines defined and the face structured through repeated use. Pick it up, and the weight is present in the hand, the superfine alpaca face consistent from edge to edge before it finds its place against a stack. Across Three Colorways

Ivory/Coffee Grid draws both tones from naturally colored fiber, with no dye used at any stage. The warm brown grid sits on an ivory ground, the contrast clear. Darkest Spruce/Onsen Grid places a deep forest ground with a cooler, darker grid line running through it, the most tonal of the three. Limestone Melange/Ivory Grid sets bright ivory grid lines against a warm sandy-beige ground, the melange tone giving the ground a slightly varied surface.
