Designed in Canada and woven in Peru from 84% superfine alpaca and 16% undyed Peruvian cotton, the Lee Heirloom Throw Pillow at 48" x 12" and 5.3 lbs with the insert spans the full width of a king headboard in a single piece. Three colorways of evenly spaced vertical stripes cover the face from end to end.

What 48 Inches Does to a Stripe

At this length, the stripe repeat reads as a dense continuous pattern across the full horizontal field. The long low proportion gives the stripes a stacked quality up close that softens into surface texture at room distance. Lay it across the back of a linen sofa, and the superfine alpaca surface rests against the upholstery evenly, the 5.3 lbs holding it flat.

The alpaca that produces this fiber lives above 4,000 meters in the Peruvian highlands, where the conditions of that altitude produce a fleece that insulates efficiently at low weight. The 16% undyed Peruvian cotton woven through the blend anchors the structure, the alpaca producing the soft brushed finish across the full face.

Three Colorways at Full Length

Shoji/Cacao Stripe reads as a warm earth palette at this length, the cacao brown lines dense enough that the ground and stripe read as an integrated tone. Darkest Spruce/Onsen Stripe carries the deep forest green across the full width, the pale onsen lines bright against it. Shoji/Ivory Stripe is tone-on-tone at this length, the stripe present in the weave but absorbed into the overall ivory field from across the room.
